xwingyoda Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Anyhoo, here they are (after moderation): Catalog 2006/2 Scans Darn, not moderated yet |-/ Many tks Hobbes for doing this for us ;-) Its really kind f you :-) In France, it's not the case, there is some differences (just 1 or 2 Quote
Zane Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I picked the catalog up last Saturday at a local TRU and today decided to scan it. Little did I know what a pain that is! While browsing through 70+ pages is cool and fun, scanning them is NOT *sing* That was the last time I did that...Anyhoo, here they are (after moderation): Catalog 2006/2 Scans It's the Austrian version. Prices don't represent the average European prices since Austria is one of the higher price Euro countries. If somebody wants something translated on a certain page just ask, I'll post it here then. And no, there's nothing else in it, those are all the pages! Enjoy *sweet* You think you could deeplink all of the pages? ... Haha. Just kidding. Isle w8. -Tilius- Quote
WhiteHexagon Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I saw this catalogue in Toys R Us yesterday here in Frankfurt (Gemany, Europe, Earth...) I was going to take it, but it was on the cashiers desk and very tatty. But I did see it had some release dates for September for remote control train sets that looked quite cool. Such a shame though that you will need 1000 batteries to run the things. So the only purchase was 8823. I wouldn't normally go for Knights Kingom, but they had a 15% discount, yes, I like my discounts :) Anyway it's rubish! I wonder if this is the case of all Knights sets. I'll post some more on the quality thread... btw Do you think now is a good time to point out the difference between Holland and The Netherlands ;) I guess you have to have lived there to worry about that ;) Oh, how I miss Leiden. Hobbes Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Darn, not moderated yet |-/ Wow, I'm surprised, that's the longest it has taken so far... You think you could deeplink all of the pages?... Haha. Just kidding. Isle w8. Well, why not, it's not that difficult - because you can do it yourseeeeeelf >:-) The first pic is http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/misterho...6-2/page_01.jpg The pictures are numbered, so if you just increase the number in the picture name in the link by one (i.e. page_01.jpg, page_02.jpg etc.) you can "browse" through the catalog. I could have thought of this earlier but I didn't think it would take him that long to moderate it... Enjoy ;-) It's 76 pages by the way... Quote
UltraPrime Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Yay - got through it :) Looking forward to train sets :) Quote
WhiteHexagon Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Big thanks for scanning all the pages, it was hard enough flicking past all the duplo pages let alone patiently scanning them, well done! Have a couple of things for the shopping list this weekend now :) Peter Quote
highlandcattle Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 What kinda disturbs me is that there is no message for continuing support for 9v trains. Remember when 12v was phased out they gave us three years of support! Quote
Hobbes Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Guess I should have read the brickshelf TOS first: "6a. BRICKSHELF.COM GALLERY The purpose of the Brickshelf Gallery service is to showcase LEGO Quote
Morten Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 The 2006 fall catalog is out in Denmark too. Nothing interesting in though. Morten Quote

xwingyoda Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I finally got my hand on it and there is nothing that exciting except for Exo Force fans: the Bridge Walker and white lightning set (or something like that - see my extensive knowledge on Exo :-P ) is out in October (whereas the others are September). This means that this set will not be an exclusive since its in a Lego catalog (unlike the Arkham Asylum & the two Bionicle Mf boat sets) ;-) *yoda* Quote
WhiteHexagon Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Seems like some of the September sets are already here in the stores in Frankfurt, Germany!! I saw both train sets in Kaufhof at the weekend, very tempted, but a bit too expensive and really annoying that its only IR and everything needs like a million batteries. Has anyone considered to build a rechargable engine unit thats controlled via radio rather than crappy IR? or even bluetooth... would be cool controlling a whole complex set with lights etc from some PC software, or even a phone... oh well, guess I try and finish my current game first before starting that project :) And I guess I wait for the spring sales for the trains :) Peter Quote
Hobbes Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 hm... it doesn't work, mayor... :-X What doesn't? Did you When prompted for a username and password, use "eurobricks" twice (without the "", of course). ? Quote

JINZONINGEN73 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 (edited) At the risk of sounding stupid, how are those pics "new" to the ones Sir Dillon posted on the June 9th? Here are the pictures, so we don't need to go back to the other thread to see them. :-) http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/dash1812...orce/bwvwl2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/dash1812...force/bwvwl.jpg ...I'm missing something, aren't I? ...different colored core on top? xwingyoda Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Nope Jinzo hehe Its the same set BUT since its in the Lego catalog, it means its not a special edition in France at least ;-) (meaning much easier to get !!) *yoda* Quote
