Torrent: High Mobility Supression Mecha

Well, I couple of weeks ago started some random leg test builds and it kinda got away from me and I ended up with this;

I like it but I felt I could improve it, but been pretty distracted lately...so I only got around to it tonight and came up with this;

At its core it is very similar to the prior incarnation, but there are quick a few small-ish changes, but they still help really change the overall feel of it, but I know I'm not so fantastically amazing that I can't improve, so any feedback/critique is greatly appreciated and for more info please check out the flickr page as I added a ton of notes pointing out the new stuff.

Neat, the only improvement I can think of is to add some more little stuff here and there to give it some more depth and detail, other than that, it's beyond cool, mind sharing the LDD file?

I don't, but now theres a story behind it, just as I was about to upload it, a magpie decided that pecking about the power transformer for our house was a good idea. Note that this is the second time this happened....today.

EDIT: Derp, There was a misplaced brick somehow, so I've re-uploaded a fixed version, sorry for any trouble!

I prolly should have stuck this up to begin with, because theres quite a bit going on in such a small scale its hard to take all in properly with just a couple of angles.

Whelp, I only recently decided to check to see if all the dark red parts I used actually came in dark red....and some don't, so it was back to the drawing board! xD

Then I maded this;

The legs and torso are still the same but I modified the guns so they can swivel a bit and tweaked the head design a bit.

I tried to download your file to play with it, bu th e site keeps trying to add something to my system folder. Not sure why a LDD file would need something in my system folder but my firewall will not let me download it.

In any case, I hope you build the blue version in real bricks.

That strange, I've never had that happen to me before...but I do plan on building this, its just always a matter of WHEN xD Right now I'm trying to figure out the bulk of the designs I need/want to build for BrickCon, then I gotta get ordering! xD

Wow cool little guy you got there.

Blue and Bley makes it kinda look classic spacey (unless that's what you're going for). But besides that looks neat.

Though for the cockpit maybe use something besides trans clear? maybe trans black?

Actually that is the plan, but LDD doesn't have trans black for some reason!
