Cpusher Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Finished the first test programming on my Wall-E bot today. It now moves and avoids obstacles. Took me some time I'm fairly new to NXT and with 2x multiplexer and the sumoeyes, it was alot of trial and error. I now have the basic funtions in place. i'm currently working on emotions and interacting with stuf via the other sensors( sonar and mic) enjoy:) and visit my MOCpage for more pics and info http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/274719 Quote
-R8- Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 This looks even more fun in video! This is fantastic considering that you said that you were new to NXT. Wall-E runs well, and his 'emotions' are conveyed in a smooth and charming manner. Quote
DLuders Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 I wonder what your child thinks about your yellow playmate? The neighborhood kids will really like Wall-E! Quote
Cpusher Posted June 18, 2011 Author Posted June 18, 2011 I wonder what your child thinks about your yellow playmate? The neighborhood kids will really like Wall-E! My 3 year old son loves Wall-e, both the movie, all toys, and every other robot and things with motors i show him my 6 year old daughter: "dad, where is all the yellow bricks?" Quote
