MOC: Modular Style Beverage Store w/News Stand

My newest MOC is a one story Modular Style Beverage Store. (Since Brickshelf seems to be down I've moved the pics to Flickr.)

The Front.

Here we see the news stand in the front with the entrance to the store. The local beggar out front asking for money.

The Roof

Here we have a large vent style fan and behind it a condenser unit. (More on that in another post.)

The Interior

Here we have a standard vestibule with security windows. After dark they can lock the door but still sell thru the access windows.

The shelves are stocked with a wide selection of beer, wine, and snacks. and against the far wall many kegs. Aparently a few of our city's fine construction workers have stopped in after work for an adult beverage.

Behind the counter the clerk has a desk with a safe underneath.

I'm MOCing and Rolling, I may have another photo or two to add of another addition to my city tonight. I'm going to need a bigger dresser. Especially with the Fire Brigade coming.

OK, I've moved my pictures to Flickr sine Brickself doesn't seem to be working. Also we have added a park to my Modular Town. Here you can see the Water Tower that Dominates the Background.

Here you can see a small bridge where the river runs into a Culvert underneath it. This is why it is bricked up.

The town remembers it's fallen soldiers with a Civil War era cannon in the park in front of the Memorial Tree. The Water Tower is enclosed with a fence around it.

Here you can see the Culvert the water flows into under the bridge. A small pier with a bench provides ample space for those wishing to fish or just relax and look at the flowing water. There is a retaining wall opposite the pier so that the water doesn't get into the building along the river if it floods.

Here you see the view from the other side of the retaining wall looking across to the pier.

Here you can see how it fits into my town.
