Cpt. Dan Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 I'm going to begin picking up my jaw from the floor... All I said when I saw this was an elongated "what..." Excellent work this is one of the best anything's I have ever seen with respect to the way you executed a complicated shape of the building perfectly. Nice nice NICE work! I love this MOC. Quote
Blackknight112 Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Reqlly good job! This MOC is excellent. The shape is perfect. Quote
Wout Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 This is stunning. I love also the lightning inside and the big trol with a banana on the bridge. He has surely a nice holiday. Quote
Timothy Posted June 13, 2011 Author Posted June 13, 2011 Dear Zorbas, Thanks for set my 1st MOC (post here) in front page. In future, i will set up the photo no bigger than 800 x 600. If i build good MOC, i will post again. I did not have good photo for the interior, as the light/glass affect to take good photos. Here is my some other lego item in brickshelf (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=94354) First of all, welcome to Eurobricks Timothy (and what an entrance that was!). You can always introduce yourself here if you want and tell us a little bit about yourself. About the MOC now, this is more than impressive, well done! Your creation looks fantastic and very close to the real building. You've used the majority of the pieces in a brilliant way (the curved pieces and the trans-blue bricks are a perfect choice and produce a great final result) and the details both on the building itself and the surroundings area are just excellent. I can see that there are some interior details too. Do you happen to have any photos to share too? Overall a shiny, luxurious MOC! Thanks for sharing your creation with us! (Btw, could you resize and post smaller pictures, no bigger than 800x600? It's the maximum picture size allowed in EB and it will make your topic look even better. Thanks! ) Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Amazing Moc Timothy. I go to dubai every year and stay at a hotel just down the beach (same company). This looks exactly like it. For accuracy my one surgestion is put on a golf buggy beacuse they use those to transport guest around a lot. Overall this is stunning the lighting up feature is dead accurate welldone Quote
PecataD Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 This is awesome! Congratulations on a wonderful job. I like details and course. Lighting is not for disposal. Bravissimo! Quote
Zorbas Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Thanks for set my 1st MOC (post here) in front page. And I somehow forgot to mention that in my post. The pleasure was all mine. If i build good MOC, i will post again. By all means do! (Really interesting Brickshelf account btw.) Quote
Inspecter Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Nice MOC although I would like to make a suggestion add more country flags like a German flag or Italian flag. Quote
L@go Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I don't believe I have anything to add that hasn't already been said, but that's no reason not to say I love it. It's a great rendition of the original building and proves that you don't have to build exactly to 'minifig scale' (whatever that really is) to make recognisable architecture in a tabletown :) Quote
