The0 Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 (edited) Here is my first MOC in the Atlantis theme and my first MOC on Eurobricks. I built it in april for the L13 contest Spring Edition on Brickpirate. Hope you'll like it . Edited June 14, 2011 by The0 Quote
Peppermint_M Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 That is a really well presented MOC The0, the temple and ground around it make a good scene setter. The giant guard looks just like a mecha that the Atlanteans could have built or repaired with the flotsam in the ocean. A great MOC all 'round. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I really like the steampunk feel of this giant Atlantis guard, as well as the effective combination of fragile and intimidating look. Very well done The0! Quote
Vindicare Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 That's one cool and immense looking guardian. The whole MOC is nice too. Now, with the Temple of Atlantis set, he really does have something to guard. Quote
Halberd777 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Now that's a guardian of Atlantis. It's a bit Sci-Fi for the actual sets however. Alot of the Lore around atlantis was a very advanced ancient culture so I love it. Very big too almost reminds me of the guardian in Thor. Quote
The0 Posted June 9, 2011 Author Posted June 9, 2011 Thanks! Now, with the Temple of Atlantis set, he really does have something to guard. I wanted build something bigger but I didn't have enough time an bricks. I'm very glad you like it! Quote
ziljin Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 This is great. Is that a gatling gun in his hand? Quote
Legostein Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Hello! What amazes me most is the parts choice you did for the impressive guard. You've turned wheels, dishes, hoses, railings and many other unconventional pieces into a great statue. Very clever and original! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
The0 Posted June 14, 2011 Author Posted June 14, 2011 Thanks again! Is that a gatling gun in his hand? Yes it is! even if it's quite anachronistic ( sorry for the late answer ). Quote
Red Bricks Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Even know I'm not a fan of the Atlantis theme, I have to appreciate that! Well done! Quote
Hoboman Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 While I realize the focus of this MOC is the guard, I have to say I really like the temple/base. I like the feel and colors you used. The green does not overpower it like some Atlantis MOCs I have seen. Well done both on the base and the Guard. Quote
