As in if I make a castle, and all my pictures is in the youtube video (so I can get more views duh), can I post that in the Historic section? With the video thumbnail being the preview picture of the moc.

Right now I am just posting them along with my stop motion videos in the brickfilms/comics section.

Anio often posts YouTube videos with his MOCs, and I see videos in the Technic forum all the time, so I'd say the answer is yes. Though Masked is right, so far as I know YouTube does not allow you to set the preview pic, and also so far as I know it's the only video hosting site that you can embed from on EB, so I'd take some pics and post those as well.

There is no problems in posting a video in a MOC, just try to include some pictures as well for the people who don't want to watch a video, or prefer to take in the finer details and angles of the build that a video can't always offer  Copy the url and use this icon, media.png:thumbup:

But most people who don't have really fast Internet don't want to wait for YouTube to show them a slideshow of pics and would rather just see the pics. (myself included)

Yeah I think that's cool. Though I'm not sure you can controll the thumbnail. Nothing wrong with that at all. :classic:

You can control it, either when uploading or by editing later. It's the "Video Thumbnail" tool. It should display 3 options you can choose from, I'm guessing first, middle, and last but I'm not sure. You might be able to choose another image to use, but I'm not certain, it's been a while since I put anything on Youtube.
