Red Bricks Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Hi, Not sure whether this should be in general discussion forum, But it seemed relevant to Pirates. I have just purchased the new Lego Barbossa as Privateer, and it doesn't have his crutch, if you have the Lego Pirates of the Caribbean The Video Game, the crutch on there looks very good, but can you get that or anything that looks like the movie one from anywhere, custom sites or official sets? By the way, I've tried the Basic bar (Harry potter wand) and it doesn't really look that good. Thanks again Quote
Runamuck Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) I have completed the game, and to me it looks like the crutch is mostly made up, but based on and old fashioned gas nozzle. http://peeron.com/inv/parts/194 Edit: I have just tried it, the gas nozzle is not long enough to reach the ground when it's held like a crutch. Here is a little thing I came up with. Edited June 1, 2011 by Runamuck Quote
Red Bricks Posted June 1, 2011 Author Posted June 1, 2011 That actually looks quite effective, I'll keep that in mind, Thanks That back part of the stick is a Harry Potter wand isn't it? Quote
Runamuck Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) It's one of the collectable minifigures rods, the viking's axe handle to be precise. The Potter wand is about 4 studs long, the CMF rod is 3 studs long. Edited June 1, 2011 by Runamuck Quote
Capn Frank Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Edit: I have just tried it, the gas nozzle is not long enough to reach the ground when it's held like a crutch. -snip- Here is a little thing I came up with. I would use a Brickarms monopod for the hand grip. Quote
Red Bricks Posted June 1, 2011 Author Posted June 1, 2011 I think that monopod will do the job I was looking around brickarms and I think that the monopod and bat clipped together might look good? http://www.brickarms.com/Images2/products/bat_Brown_S.gif & http://www.brickarms.com/Images2/products/Monopod_Black_S.gif Quote
Bart Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 just wondering where do people get this single mini-figs packs? I've never seen them in the shops around here. Bart Quote

Red Bricks Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 I know but I have came up with all designs that I've thought of are mostly customs and I had to think up about 15 prototypes in my head without actually being able to touch it. I've bought the monopods from eBay and will either connect it to a Harry Potter Wand or a Viking Axe Handle Bar. Quote
Red Bricks Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 Update: I have ordered some brown monopods and I will clip them onto a Harry potter wand so it will be held backwards so the remains of the stick that won't touch the floor will act as an arm support. Will post some Pictures when done Quote
