Hi,

I'm starting this topic to share some pictures and designs of Star Wars sets adapted to use only Design by Me parts ... I figure you can then buy from LEGO a set with bricks to build these models if you want.

Regards

This is the first MINI Star Wars "Design by Me" adapted set; original set is 4484. This X-wing fighter has 40 parts all compatibe withDesign by Me.

I'm not permitted to upload the lxf file, so I include a link to my site in which the lxf file is linked MINI Star Wars X-Wing "Designby Me" compatible

And this is the TIE Advanced ... lxf file at LEGO Star Wars TIE advanced "Design by Me" compatible

Nice work. The easiest way to share .lxf files is with Brickshelf. EB does allow you to attach them if you place them in zip files first, but the amount you can upload is limited.

Thank you, I have now a brickshelf user and will start to upload files.

I am trying to make him feel good about his designs.

OK, nothing wrong with that. It was just that two such extreme reactions of joy on the same day, got me wondering. And the work is indeed good, but the models are based on original TLG sets (you did know that right?).

Yes and I also said it because I have only just got to grips properly with LDD and thought that was amazing.
