Big Cam Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 I ran across this on Gizmodo.com. Looks interesting but it's hardly got much to do with LEGO besides looking like it and the comic I suppose, otherwise I see no building involved. Quote
The Legonater Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Wasn't there an earlier topic about this? I've got a sort of a deja vu feeling. Quote

simonjedi Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 What would a Lego audio book contain anyway. An hour of clicking building noises? Quote
Aanchir Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 (edited) What would a Lego audio book contain anyway. An hour of clicking building noises? Why don't you ask the three LEGO City audiobooks that have apparently already begun showing up in Germany? Or the similar Ninjago audiobook? LEGO audiobooks are about the same as any other LEGO books, I'd wager. They tell fun stories that amuse kids and reinforce their love of LEGO, while also inspiring them to build their own stories using their LEGO collections. They're product placement, but they're LEGO product placement, which I think we can all agree is the best kind! And there was a topic for this already: see here in the Community subforum. Also, I don't recognize that comic in the image. Is that a Jim Spaceborn comic or something? I wouldn't know, since my family only has the first of those, and I don't think any subsequent ones exist in English (although they might in other languages). Edited May 29, 2011 by Aanchir Quote
