brickcitydepot Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 A recent trip around Richmond for some inspiration left me wanting to make some of the old buildings that I see everywhere in the commercial areas. The dark green one is a bar and has seating a bar, and a pinball machine. Upstairs is a pool table, cue rack and some chairs. The other building is a generic store. Both feature a detailed rear of the building. Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Very wonderful work here brickcitydepot! I have been watching these awesome creations ever since the ambulance, truly unique. The detailing here is awesome from the bar, to the pinball machine. Great works! Quote
Cecilie Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 You just never cease to amaze. That's another pair of really great buildings, with a nicely done rear too. And that pinball machine is pure genious . Quote
Gregorovich Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Those are really stunning buildings, brickcitydepot! The level of detail on the facade is amazing, and the interior is also full of great furniture. Well done, and thanks for sharing! Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Excellent modular buildings 'bcd', nice pool table and is that a one armed bandit in the corner ? Is there an interior to the store or has Walmart foced it out-of-business ? Brick On ! Quote
AwesomeTaylor Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 (edited) Awesome pinball machine! I'd love to see how you did that :) Edited May 27, 2011 by AwesomeTaylor Quote
Sikozu Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Very nice buildings once again, but no stairs between the floors? Quote
Artifex Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Awesome! Your color scheme... So realistic! If TLG delivered some buildings like that, they'd be a success from the start! Quote
Lance Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Wow! Looks great! Not too much detail and not too little detail! It's perfect! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Great to see the interesting color combination of dark green and brown, and the interior details are very well done too. And the idea of "modular generic building packs" is quite interesting to explore. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Absolutely cool! The pool table, the pinbal and the bar with glasses are lovely! The front of the building in very oldstyle is a beautiful masterpiece! Quote

sonicstarlight Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 These make a very nice pair. The pinball machine is especially nice and instantly recognizable. Quote
