domdubya Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Hi everyone, Been browsing here on and off for about a year now, tried to say hello a while back, typed a lot, site timed out and gave up! Totally inspired by some of the builds some people can achieve and amazed how helpful the community of AFOL is whether it be on here, Bricklink etc. My son and I have also attended the Great Western Lego show in Swindon UK for the last two years. So since my son (7 now) has been old enough to appreciate Lego I've been buying more and more, spent thousands and never seem to create anything, it's all bagged up and kept in order and maybe it's time to break it out and create something??? We have loads of sets from Harry Potter, Star Wars, City and at great expense we have most of the Batman sets (some more than one!). I'm about to buy a couple of modular sets as I'm seeing a Gotham type conversion of these coming along and need to understand the building style but am also inspired by some of the smaller pieces which is maybe where we should start. My shouts for Batman Lego builds go out to The Penguin, Baronsat, Jedd the Jedi and gcanik. Good work guys! Anyway, I'm feeling something Batman MOC coming along.....let's see what happens.
