Slobey Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Hi there, I just recieved my 6073 the other day and the modularity was one of the things that struck me. So I decided to build something that attached to it. So here it is Ground floor http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...or/ground1.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...or/ground2.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...or/ground3.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...or/ground4.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...udor/wall1.jpeg Top Floor http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...tudor/top1.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...tudor/top2.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...tudor/top3.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...tudor/top4.jpeg Complete http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...dor/tudor1.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...dor/tudor2.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...dor/tudor3.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...dor/tudor4.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...dor/tudor5.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...udor/wall2.jpeg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/slobey/T...udor/thief.jpeg Quote
Lost Viking Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Wow! Great job! I love all of the details inside and out. I really like the two kids fighting with "wooden swords" and the assassin hiding in the dark. My only complaint would be for you to put some trees or flowers around. I think that would jazz it up a bit. Anyways, I would like to see more of your work! *y* Quote
Brick Miner Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 nice selection of minifigs and pieces... there is a little bit of everything, which makes for excellent detail. and good choices too, especially the minifigs. BTW, i've never seen fruit interpreted the way you have (with the cone and feathers out the top). nice techinque !!! - BrickMiner Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Hey, nice creation Slobey. :-) I really like the way the tan looks, and the way you made some of the tuder part slanting is a great touch. The only thing I don't really like is the overhang above the door. It looks strange and a little unsturdy to me without any supports. Quote
Darth Doggfather Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I'm not a big fan of castle/medieval MOCs, but I liked this. I loved all the details. *y* Quote
Berry Syedow Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 A pleasant tudor house, this is. I like the tan a lot. There's a great amount of detail all around, such as the potions, bookcases, fruit/vegetables. Are those ears of corn in the barrel? That guy must not get much business for there to be grass in his first floor. ;-) Quote
