Captain Henry Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Hey gang, I am new here, so I do not know if this qualifies as a MOC, since it uses all official Lego parts... My son knows my two loves are dwarves and pirates, so he came up with the basic idea for this guy, although I tweaked it. I am not sure what Castle set the head comes from, it was floating around in a parts bin. But we added the hat and beard from the new PotC Blackbeard minifig and it really brought this guy to life. Thanks for looking! Quote
Brig. Brick Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Hi, and welcome to Eurobricks! if this qualifies as a MOC? I don't know but he looks dangerous, the size, and the grey eye... soulless Quote
Bart Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 looks good of course this qualifies as a MOC as MOC = my own creation so if even if you randomly put some Lego parts together its a MOC. Bart Quote
Captain Henry Posted May 23, 2011 Author Posted May 23, 2011 Thanks guys! (I am so glad I stumbled across this site after picking up a couple of the PotC sets. I dug out my old Lego pirate ships and managed to find 99.9% of the parts to rebuild them!) Quote
Captain Becker Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Haha, great pirate figure, it remainds me from Blackbeard, except at he has shorter legs Great custom Minifigure you have there, the head, hat and the beard s just perfect and the pistols looks great whit his short legs. I only think the Torso could be different, somehow that wont suit him very well IMO. Maby that Torso wich you get in 2009 set: Pirate survival could be much better. Great job anyway.
