Lego Amaryl Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 When it's hot in summer, there's nothing better than a granita, with the traditional brioche: This is a van that sells granita and brioche (it lacks stickers, but I haven't found yet any good picture that represents granita and brioche!): More pictures at http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=473626 Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 This is just awesome Lego Amaryl. I've always loves these types of trucks made on Lego. At the choicemof colours really suit on what they are selling. great work Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Excellent creation, a little classic town tossed in there for good measure. Great work 'Lego Amaryl' and Brick On ! Now a footnote, I looked up what Granita is......a semi-frozen ice desert. (isn't that also called a snowcone in the USA ? ) Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Very nice truck, though could you pls. re-size the images to 800 x 600 pixels max. size as per Site Guidelines? Thanks. Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Very cool truck Lego Amaryl! The cab is my favorite, but the food bins in the truck are also stunningly awesome! Quote
buddy Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Great MOC! It looks good and the colours used work well on it. Also, it has a Classic Town feel to it. Very well done. ~buddy~ Quote
Lego Amaryl Posted May 23, 2011 Author Posted May 23, 2011 At the choicemof colours really suit on what they are selling. Actually yellow and red are the colours of my town... Now a footnote, I looked up what Granita is......a semi-frozen ice desert. (isn't that also called a snowcone in the USA ? ) I didn't find a precise translation for granita, as I think it's made only in Italy (actually, the true granita is made only in Sicily). The most important thing about granita is that it's made from real fruits, differently from broken ice with syrup that it's made in other Italian regions. Quote
Gregorovich Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Great van, Lego Amaryl! The colour choice is good, and I like the Classic Town feel of it. The flap and interior are nice, too. Well done, and thanks for sharing! Quote
Legoless Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Wonderful van- wheels could be a little larger though? Never tried granita but sounds like a sort of cross between a 'slush puppy' and a sorbet- no doubt far tastier than the former. Quote
Janel Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 When it's hot in summer, there's nothing better than a granita, with the traditional brioche: The van you made is cool.... but boy does this look yummy right about now! Quote
GabryS Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Great van! I love it's "oldschool" style. Colors and scale are nice as well. I like the interior too. Quote
Vindicare Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Excellent creation, a little classic town tossed in there for good measure. Great work 'Lego Amaryl' and Brick On ! Now a footnote, I looked up what Granita is......a semi-frozen ice desert. (isn't that also called a snowcone in the USA ? ) A snow cone is finely shaved ice packed into a cup with oh so delicious(and, good for you no doubt) fruit flavored syrup. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Great van 'Lego Amaryl'. Very nice color choice, I love the classic look Quote
