eNiGMa Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 I'm celebrating a few events with this vig. First, today is my 17th birthday (woot!), and a year ago tomorrow I built my very first vignette. Pioneer Day, a Utah holiday celebrating the arrival of Mormon settlers in 1847, is also on Sunday (even though the first party got here on the 22nd), and this, my 50th vignette, was built to honor it. But wait, there's more! This vig has an interesting little twist to it: When the minifig, horse, and flower stems are removed, it becomes a mosaic of Utah and its geological regions! I kinda like the idea of building a vignette on a mosaic. It adds a fun challenge, and looks really cool. Does anyone have any ideas on what we could call something like this? I was thinking along the lines of Vigsaic, but I dunno. What do you think? gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=195364 Quote
