Hrw-Amen Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Here is a link to my first modular house MOC. I still want to add some details to it, but for the most part it is done. Does anyone have any ideas for building televisions to go in MOC builings? Next time I will go for a bit more subdued colours, but for my first build I went with old fashioned colours that I was familiar with from yaers ago. Does anyone know why I cannot upload pictures to this post? I've cropped them and reduced the file size down to 28.6KB but am getting an error message saying 'This file was too big to upload?' Hoever I have posted a link to Youtube where it can be viewed. Advice welcome. Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Very nice house Hrw-Amen! There are many fantastic details such as the surfboard rack, and the new style spiral stair case like in my review. I hope to see more work from you! You could try uploading and deep linking photos from Brickshelf. And a list of tips and tutorials for how to upload and picture tips. Quote
Man with a hat Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 A nice house indeed. And I see you went all out on the interior. The interior is the best part I think. You got everything there you'll find in a real house. I like the way you did the toilet. Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted May 22, 2011 Author Posted May 22, 2011 The toilets caused me a real problem at first as I was uncertain what to use for them. I asked for some suggestions on this forum and worked something out using the ideas people came up with. I am pretty pleased with them, especially the old fashioned one downstairs, it is similar to an outside one we had when I was growing up, very cold in winter and full of spiders. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Great house 'Hrw-Amen'. The details are great for such a large house. Very good work on this build Quote
