LEGO Fan weekend 2011 Denmark Skaerbaek

We are happy to announce that registration for the annual LEGO Fan weekend in Skaerbaek,

Denmark on the 23. - 25. of september, is nov open.

The only major change for this year is that the registration of the cabins are done directly with Skaerbaek fritids center.

There willl be the usual exhibitions, trade stalls, a LEGO shop and the famous friday and saturday night gatherings.

If you want to participate in the big town/train layout that Byggepladen coordinates it is possible and

we are also contemplating a moonbaselayout. If you are interrested in participating in this please send me a PM before july 31.

as we need some time to arrange things.

Been meaning to go to Skærbæk for quite a few years, and it looks like this year I'll finally make it (also, it looks we're going to be a quite large group of Norwegians going, which is always good)

Just a little reminder. It is soon last chance to get a cabin at the event, at the special discounted rate available to

participants.

After the 31. of july, the normal rates at Skaerbaek Fritids center is on.

The event itself is as usual free. The only obligatory thing is the dinner saturday evening.

So you better hurry to sign up. If you are looking for folks to share the cabin with, try to put a note here :-)

We are unable to do the coodination of this part this year, as we are all a bit burdened with work at the moment.

A bit of updated info:

Current list of participants are approaching 150 people from 11 nations, Not bad at all

We are especially happy to welcome the folks from Brazil So no excuse for you folks from Europe on missing out on this.

The only small problem is that there are only a few cabins left to let during the event.

So you better hurry if you want to be part of a super event.

been keen on going to an event for quite some time now, so I'm really

looking forward to it.

I was also wondering if it is Okay (not ok-ey) for anyone to display a model at the

event, and if so, do you have to say it beforehand so you guys now?

Hi happy to se that sweeden finally is represented this year. Now we are going to be 12 nations.

Sorry for being late on answering. Have been avay on family bussines :-) amongst others a visit at the world scout jamboree in Sweden

I hope you have registered. And then you should have received a form telling how to exhibit a layout (or mtwo)

If you plan to participate in the large city/train layout, please write it on the form and the layoutplanner will contact you shortly.

Yep, that's me. I got some good inspiration and are planning to evolve it (include some moving parts etc).
