Quarryman Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Been meaning to go to Skærbæk for quite a few years, and it looks like this year I'll finally make it (also, it looks we're going to be a quite large group of Norwegians going, which is always good) Quote
Henning M. Posted July 12, 2011 Author Posted July 12, 2011 Hi all Just a little reminder. It is soon last chance to get a cabin at the event, at the special discounted rate available to participants. After the 31. of july, the normal rates at Skaerbaek Fritids center is on. The event itself is as usual free. The only obligatory thing is the dinner saturday evening. So you better hurry to sign up. If you are looking for folks to share the cabin with, try to put a note here :-) We are unable to do the coodination of this part this year, as we are all a bit burdened with work at the moment. See you at the best AFOL event 2011. On behalf of the team Henning M. Quote
Henning M. Posted July 19, 2011 Author Posted July 19, 2011 Hi all A bit of updated info: Current list of participants are approaching 150 people from 11 nations, Not bad at all We are especially happy to welcome the folks from Brazil So no excuse for you folks from Europe on missing out on this. The only small problem is that there are only a few cabins left to let during the event. So you better hurry if you want to be part of a super event. Best holliday greetings Henning M. Quote
Dammtuss Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Hi, I'm planning on going and will make the reservation tomorrow. I have been keen on going to an event for quite some time now, so I'm really looking forward to it. I was also wondering if it is Okay (not ok-ey) for anyone to display a model at the event, and if so, do you have to say it beforehand so you guys now? Sincerely// Wombat The Wise Quote

Quarryman Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Currently at Billund airport on my way home from what has been an awesome event, looking forward to next year already My only regret would be spending too little time socializing with non-norwegians, the curse of travelling with a large group I guess.. Cecilie Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I had a great time, and I'm definitely coming back next year! Oh, and I think this pic of my car says it all about how much LEGO I bought on this trip . Quote
Dammtuss Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 This was the first Lego event that I've attended to. I had a great time and will for sure do my best to be able to attend next year also. Regards// Wombat Quote

Dammtuss Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Were you the one who brought the large Swedish frigate MOC? (or were there more swedes around?) Yep, that's me. I got some good inspiration and are planning to evolve it (include some moving parts etc). Quote
