bricklayer Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Hopefully I wont be banned for posting this Someone locally is selling this set for $20 http://www.treacletoys.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1¤cy=USD It comes out to less than 1 cent a pc....go figure.....but Shoud I buy it......just for the experience!!! Its 29 inches long. Quote
prateek Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 $20 sounds okay, I guess... Probuilder is actually a decent line. Just beware that MB isn't as good quality as Lego. Quote
brickmack Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 20 sounds okish, but it's still megacrap. I'm surprised NASA is even allowing MB to use this, since they just did that deal with LEGO (LEGO can make sets with a modern space theme, and NASA puts information about the real space vehicles in each set, or something like that). Vindicare Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 For $20 why not. Even if it turns out you don't like it, at least you didn't spend upwards of $200. Although, why is this person selling it at a huge loss? May want to ask that before you commit. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Definitely, if it retails for $199 and you can get it for $20 It'll probably be a good build with only brick grip issues, common among MB. So forget swooshing it around Still it looks pretty neat even if it just sit on a shelf. Maybe you could even resell for a profit? It IS still better than that Enlighten crap... Quote
