Hi, I have recently purchased the new Imperial Flagship, and am looking for ideas on how to modify it. I'm not that great a builder, and have a limit on bricks available so need some basic things I can do to make it different (or better). I have already blocked one of the cabin doors up and put in stairs up to the Wheel, but need some more ideas - be it adaptions to the ship, furniture or minifigs. I am most grateful for any ideas given.

I know what you're thinking. People don't apply to my posts much either.

You should probably use some jumperplates in your furniture. It will take up less space and cut the costs.

Try not to bump your threads it bumps every one else down, I know is hard when it seems no one has paid any attention to your question but them's the breaks.

As to your question have you searched the forum for inspiration? There are a lot of great ships here many with detailed interiors and custom rigging (the first thing I would recommend).

These are mine but there are plenty more out there you just need to look.pirate_wink.gif

CaptMc,

It's not that I don't have any ideas for simple modifications to the ship for increased realism or playability. I believe almost all ideas for improvements are already shown in the forum. I would suggest that you search for these MOCs and MODs in the forum or view our MOC indexes.

I look forward to seeing what type of MODs you have done to your set.

I just built the same ship last night. I am going to keep mine unmodified, but will add 13 crew, a rowboat and 4 cannon to make it more effective in battle. I really like the ship as is, but if I were to improve it i'd start with making the castles a bit larger and more correct.

I added a lighted brick to the cabin of my Imperial Flagship. I do kinda wonder what she would look like with a 2nd gun deck though.

If you want to change her up you could make different colored sails. It wouldn't use up any bricks but you'd have to find a fabric you like and be handy with a pair of scissors.
