MOC: Roughneck Hoverbike

I watched 3 seasons of BSG last week, currently watching the 4th... It got me interested in building more civilian type space crafts.

Roughneck; a octan hoverbike inspired by 'Battlestar Galactica'.

I could see it being a police one too. The gas tanks and

the handle bars at the front are really detailed.

Great MOC '-zenn' , but I was tricked by the title.....I was thinking Starship Troopers with the name Roughneck. Plus it's sad you choose the later BSG to MOC something....sorry not a fan of the newer series - too much a fan of old school 1979 BSG.

I loved the new Battlestar Galactica series and I can definately see where the inspiration came from. Great work!

Haha, a roughneck is actually a slang term for a person whose occupation is hard-manual labour. I really like ST as well though, 'Rico's Roughneck!'.

The old BSG was before my time, maybe I'll watch some ep's to see what it's like.

Ah, classic BSG.....Starbuck and Boomer are guys and best of friends with Apollo and Apollo's younger brother played by Aussie pop-star turn big time early 80's US soap star Rick Springfield doesn't last the first 15 minutes - his high engine is shot out and lacking power is over run by a few raiders and blasted us he reached his father's baseship.

Try MOCing a shuttle or Landram '-Zenn'.....may the Lords of Kobol be with you always.
