Another Newbie

Hi!

I'm 30-something, female, married to a husband who is very understanding of my Lego obsession (he pretty much encourages it) with a baby who is just a little bit too young for it all just yet. She'll have plenty to play with when she's old enough, though!

My childhood love of Lego was reignited a few years ago when I was looking for suitable subjects for a macro photography project. I mostly collect houses and house-like things, particularly the Creator ones (that new Lighthouse looks like it'd be a nice addition to my collection at some point) and collectable sets like the Medieval Market Village and modular sets. Due to baby-related financial restrictions I've lately been restricting myself to the collectable minifigs, but I can still dream. My husband wanted Lego and a train set for Christmas, so I bought him the Cargo Train set and satisfied both requirements in one
