The question should be what type of vehicle should i build to transport my 8043... the type of trailer is dependant upon the vehicle hauling it. Personally I'd go for a 3 axle truck-tractor pulling a 3 or 4 axle low loader trailer or a large farm tractor pulling a drawbar semi-low loader trailer for an interesting change...

Han's low loader is a good starting point though...

i see, then i'd definitely go for a lowloader, maybe with a gooseneck dolly, and maybe try to make the trailer suspension pneumatically height adjustable....

btw nice tractor unit...

if i heard you right you want to link the trailer wheels and the truck wheels together?,you can do this by useing a receiver setup like like on of these :

(sharing the same receiver)

steering of truck (1) red

trailer (1) red

or

(separate receivers)

steering of truck (1) blue

trailer (1) red

i hope you can under stand all right :classic:

Nooteboom, good choice.

Let me know how you make out with your low loader. I tried making one before but had problems with the platform in the middle when I put on too heavy a load like the 8043.
