? about waterslide decal

Was thinking of putting together a few minifigs, specifically the Classic era space minifig. Looking at the list, I could do just about in any color although a light blue hand would get very expensive and for some reason LEGO never made orange helmet :/ (forget those air tanks, newer space series minifig didn't need em)

Anyway if I get the water slide decal of the classic space logo for torso, would it show well on dark purple and dark bley?

The next best thing would be regular label and sharp knife to cut out the space logo. I know clear label wouldn't do well here, some lighter color would kind of disappear on dark colored torso.
