This is a modern remix of Legoland set 105. I have most of the parts from my original from when I was a kid, but I think it is more fun to give it a more modern take. The minifigure is also of recent vintage and is from set 9348 with an addition of the messenger bag.

Me too! This is really nice, but Canada Post doesn't use cars like these

I think a hatch in the back would make it better, but I don't see a good solution, so this is great!

Nice looking truck. Good to see stuff from way up here represented in the LEGO community.

Actually, Canada Post has recently started using the Ford Transit Connect, which this MOC looks pretty similar to.

Thanks.

As for the design, I was going for something that sort of looked like the original and sort of looked like a Canada Post Grumman LLV.

I really didn't see a good door/hatch option and I didn't think the shutters option would have worked, as on the original.

You really got this up to date. Very nice rendition of an updated version. Tis a shame it isn't original but, this definitely makes up on it's design. I'd take this over the original, very well done :classic:

Now the word I'm looking for is AWESOME 'Triborough', a great redesign of a classic town set though it suits the one in the photo provided by 'ricecracker' !

Keep these creations comming and Brick On 'Triborough' !
