Teazza Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Hi everybody, here I show you my latest MOC, a long articulated truck for special transport. This truck is loaded with a big industril plant. More pictures here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/267226 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=471797 Every comment or suggestion is welcome! Bye Teazza Quote
L@go Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Nice - and huge! I like the design of the truck, with that big yellow piece between the front and rear wheels. Is that some kind of Technic or Bionicle panel? A couple of suggestions: I'd swap the light bluish gray light sabre blades for the wing mirrors for some black ones, and maybe also consider making those lamps over the windscreen black instead of lt bluish gray. Apart from that, I don't think I'd change a thing :) Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Not bad at all 'Teazza', just two pieces of advice - the mirror are too small plus 'L@go' is right about the grey bar...black would be better. Secondly the wheels on the trailer generally I might be corrected on this anyway....are slightly smaller than the ones on the prime mover. Anyway, it's still a great looking setup and K.O.B. 'Teazza' ! Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Very nice work here! I am glad to see another moc from you. I am wondering don't you think there could be a sticker of some sort here? Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Another great long hauler 'Teazza' I really like the work on the trailer and its cargo. Keep up the great work Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Nice work Teazza you've gotten the size just about right. The whole design of the truck is quite good. Great work Quote
Ralph_S Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 The truck itself is neat, Teazza, although some of the details on the trailer strike me as a bit random. Did you use a real truck as a reference? I love the load. It really does look like some sort of industrial equipment, a part of chemical plant for instance. Cheers, Ralph Quote
LegoSjaak Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Teazza, i hope the white loads are no Fukushima-reactors... Greetz, LegoSjaak Quote
Out of Sight Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 (edited) Aha..'Teazza'..of course,I remember that name! I always love nice long specialized transport trucks. Very nice!! Believe it or not your MOCs are inspirational to mine. The first time I looked at your wonderful creations, I just knew that I'll be focusing my MOCs on six wide specialized transport trucks, they just look official somehow. Here's my latest brick-built : Heavy haulage It's being further modified to carry even heavier loads, now with an added inter-dolly. I had one load in mind..the humongous 7685 bulldozer. XimenaPaulina Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Oh that's a very long truck alright, quite nice use of the yellow Bionicle piece and the Technic parts for the transport trailer. Very well done once again Teazza! Quote

Anyhow when I'll have the pieces I'll try the black version you suggest to see if is better. Thanks for the suggestion! Bye Teazza Very nice work here! I am glad to see another moc from you. I am wondering don't you think there could be a sticker of some sort here? Nice idea! expecially on the white cylinder of the load...I'll work on it!
