I'm working on a moc that's part of a bigger project when I found that I need to make a "Brick" like pattern, as that of a redbrick building. I posses the skills to do this but I run into a problem of not being able to offset the bricks on LDD. Is there any way around this problem? or is it more something I'm just going to have to deal with?

thanks for any help given.

The 1 x 2 tiles used for this technique can be offset by a half stud in LDD, so you can do a very rough version of it as seen in the mill from the 2nd RCB, but that's the best you can do.

which 1x2 plate are you talking about? because the one that I am using (the non engraved one in LDD extended) will only go from one side or to the other side. or am I missing something?

The Tile 1 x 2 that isn't engraved. Should be the same as yours. Takes a little bit of practice to get it to go to the middle positions, but it will. Try attaching it on one side (but not clicking so the position isn't finalized) and slowly moving the cursor to the other side.
