wlister Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Hi Guys and Gals, I have listed 9 LEGO auctions only custom castle minifigs this time. I have a few more Orcs, Dwarves and a ton of Custom KKII 2006 minfigs. These are the last of the Dwarves and may be the last of the Orcs as well. I will be listing a huge Star Wars minifig lot, as well as Black Falcons, Royal Knights and some custom Mercs tomorrow. Store link is here: http://stores.ebay.com/Bricks-and-Pieces-by-wlister Thanks for looking! I have reduced my additional items shipping costs to $1.00 and my base prices are now as close to exact as I can get them. In fact I guarantee it. If my quoted shipping price for an individual auction is more than $0.50 over the actual costs, I will refund the full difference. Will
Starwars4J Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Hi, nice selection, but I have a question. Have all your posts been to advertise your e-bay and bricklink stores? Maybe if you got to know people better around here, you might get better results?
wlister Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 Hi, nice selection, but I have a question. Have all your posts been to advertise your e-bay and bricklink stores? Maybe if you got to know people better around here, you might get better results? I know a few people on here from Classic-Castle.com I used to be a regular there, but life etc... has kind of killed off my posts there. I am trying to sell off a good chunk of my collection in the hopes that a smaller, more manageable collection would take me out of this dark age. I am drowning in bricks right now, and the more I have to sort, the less I want to. Does that make any sense. I would love to get to know more of the people around here, I just don't have the enthusiasm needed for the hobby right now. No one needs to hear more about how the new colors killed off another AFOL or how I spent my way into a dark age. I do check out a lot of other posts, mostly MOCs, I love to see what is being done, but I don't always have the time to comment. I do have galleries of MOCs I used to build including armies, castles etc... Here are a few links by way of introduction: Armies: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=21062 Bulls Castle http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=13055 Newest Castle Layout http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=145241 Train show Castle layout http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=145240 Huge Castle Layout http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=119456 Really Old Black Castle http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=24399 Graveyard http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=34000 I have a lot of other galleries, but these are the highlights. As for my sales, yeah I wish they were going a little better. I know my buyers both in North America and worldwide have been very happy with the auctions they do win. I always hope my feedback ratings on both Bricklink and eBay show everyone I am a straight shooter.
SuvieD Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Being well know doesn't increase sales anyway. It might help make friends but once money is involved people either care or don't. Post count will have nothing to do with it at that point. A few people will boycott on principle but to most people it really doesn't matter. If the price is right people will look and buy. I have sold and purchased from Will in the past and I can say he is a good person with some nice creations. Best wishes in your selling and may your return to the enjoyment of building come quickly.
snefroe Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 not so long ago some staff members did discuss what to do with this type of posts and we agreed that it's not a problem as long as it stays in this section of the forum. i don't really see any harm in it and it's even better if it stimulates discussion; and who knows, maybe there is some one here who's interested; I like the minifigs a lot, but I'm not into castle, nor into army building, so i'll let it pass... in any case, good luck
