Hi, I recently acquired the 10210 Imperial flagship. It's a good set all in all except for the bow of the ship. I find that if I even push the bow even a little bit, the whole front caves in. It's annoying to put back together too. Anyone who has this ship has a fix? I mean, I can't mod this as there is so many problems with it. The railings, the arch, the sloped front, and the 3 2x6 boards all seem to be the issue. I'm trying to fix these problems but I have a pretty hard time of fixing them. Any ideas?

When I made my pirate version I got the front end to be rock solid, I could hold the whole ship by the front. Supported the whole structure in kind of an upsidedown L shape, used some tech peices too, all belnded in very nicely. Can't remember all the details but there are a million ways to mod a ship, strengthen it, and get it just how you want. Wish I had pics to show how I did it, but it should be easy to figure out various ways to do whaty you want.

I got something going. I did as you said and put a lot of bricks in between the brig and the hull. It's quite sturdy now actually. Thanks!

I didn't go all out on my bow for two reasons, one I want the look of my Flagship to not be "interrupted" so to say, and two I needed all the space I could get for other things I added. I did however, successfully re-enforce the bow and I could send you pictures when I have the chance if you like. The first and foremost thing that TLC did wrong (I am a structural engineer so hopefully I can say that they did it wrong :pir-grin:) was with the keel of the bow. It is hard to explain but basically the post/mast that supports the jib sail from above is not connected to the keel they were separate. So I combined and secured those. The other big thing was the SNOT things on the bow. They aren't that bad, but one thing must occur to make them stable. Take off the 2x3 flat tan pieces that are closest to the bow the ones that are closer to the hull on both of the SNOT constructions can stay, and should stay as they will help.

Those are the two biggies, and I did a few other things but not much.

Anyways, I hope this helps, doubt it will though :pir-grin: I am probably too confusing.
