I tried to send lfx upload file over to DBM but show up the download file for 3.0 but I have 4.1 version.

What i did come from LDD 3.0 then move other computer with LDD 4.1 and then building guide take about 24 hours which has over 9800 pieces.

The error message was show that need download LDD 3.0 but I have 4.1 then again check price again and got other error was check price error.

What I do wrong? Did I missing something before I send over to DBM?

You can also try it yourself; it's not difficult.

If you don't want to make an account I can just explain it. :classic:

(but I'm not sure if my solution works; I never tried it  )

@ ENeuman: Nobody (except you) can see the the contents of your Brickshelf folder because has not yet been "made public". It is doubtful that the Brickshelf moderators will review your folder until Monday. You could "deeplink" your LDD .lxf file so that we could immediately view it. See how to do that here.

I can just check the price (€ 2068,97 in Netherlands). So what's your problem then exactly? :classic:

And the building instructions are alos working on my pc.

From what I can see you have indeed created the file in LDD 4.1 and in DbM Mode, so that seems correct.

I too tried to upload the model to DbM, and also get the error. This defintely seems to be some kind of bug in the DbM system. I would report it to LEGO customer services.

EDIT: There seems to be something strange too with generating building instructions. After just moving a piece, and re-creating the building instructions, it seems to take forever. You writes it takes 24 hours which seems to be waaaay too long time. I'm wondering if there is something corrupt in the file, or if the model is built in such a way that it total bogs down LDD.

EDIT2: As a general advise, I see you've used many 1x1 bricks. For example in the tan walls you used a 1x6 brick and a 1x1. May I propose you instead a 1x4 and a 1x3. Using 1x1 is more tricky when building since they often rotate slightly, so you have to for each one make sure it's alinged. With a 1x3 you don't have to do that which leads to faster building.

Thank for advice so, I will try fix the bricks then re generate the building mode and see what will happens and thank you again.

Hello again

OK, I sent a mail directly to the LDD team about this since it seemed to be a bug. This is what I got back:

There are 2 problems here:

1) We give the wrong error message. I have asked DbM to look at changing that.

2) The fan cannot order his model. I have been told by the DbM team that he can try to split the model into a few slightly smaller models and see if that helps.

The generation of the Building Guide will take a very long time for large models. The algorithm we use will take very much longer the bigger the model gets.

So, in other words. The building guide generation as such is not the problem, but rather the huge size of the model. Try splitting it between the two buildings.
