Being a bit of a mini-fig nut, i've been mixing and matching parts for as long as i've been a fan.

More often than not, the aim is to create a character that LEGO hasn't made a official version of.

My aim here is to show off these figs, and get some ideas o how to complete my WIPs. :classic:

Up first are the Sandman and The Hobgoblin. Classic characters, to be sure.

Sandman's hair comes from agent Dash, and his shirt from a soccer player.

Hobgoblin's outfit is a mish-mash of old-timey woodsmen and fantasy skeleton.

He would ideally have a brown hood, but they are surprisingly hard to come by as far as sets go...

Venom here is mostly fantasy skeleton, ideally he would have the black skeleton head from that graveyard Harry Potter set.

Cletus aka. Carnage has the body of a baker, the head of a rock-raider, and the hair of Norman Osborn(Amazing Origins)

Mysterio, one of my favorite Spider-Man villains, is one of the more heavily customized.

Gail Storm torso with arms reversed, pilfered red hands and a Beville strawberry-printed head.

Again, ideally his red parts would be purple.

For now, i'll pretend that he's the "back from the dead" Mysterio.

Moving away from Spider-Man

Deadpool is a mix of Imperial Guard, Ninjago, pirate, Prince of Persia and Spider-man. Eclectic, ain't he?

Doctor Doom is very much a WIP, he still needs a green hood and a better face.

Any ideas on a good DD face? Set, Fig, Price?

Certainly not a awesome a selection as the other talented folks on this board, but i hope you enjoy it none the less.

Nice purist customs MyHobby, they sure are very recognizable renditions of the real Marvel characters. And it's good to see 'lesser-known' characters having the spotlight every once in a while. But if I may suggest if you could improve the quality of the pictures? At the very basic it needs more/better lighting, as it would definitely make your presentation better.
