dbostream Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Hello fellow LEGO fans, My name is Daniel and I grew up with LEGO bricks constantly in my hands but unfortunately stopped when I reached my teens. I used to build all kind of stuff but I was mostly interested in Technic. By accident I found myself on LEGO's website last weekend and I saw the 8070 Supercar and just had to have it; the most recent model I had purchased before that was the 8445 Indy Storm back in 1999. After building the 8070 Supercar I don't intend to stop again but continue to buy the bigger Technic models both for the fun of building them but also for decorative purposes since I believe they look amazing nowadays. I remember drooling over the 8880 Supercar as a kid but could not afford to buy it so now I am back to make up for it. I just wish LEGO would remove the recommended upper age of their bigger models so I wouldn't have to feel so old. I am looking forward to discussing LEGO with all of you and look at all your astonishing custom builds. Quote
