Captain Bayonet Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 (edited) Hello everyone. I'm working on a Modular Restaurant and I'm looking for some advice from experienced LDD MOCers. I'm about 75% done the first floor, but I still need and interior. It's finished almost, but I'll let the picture speak for themselves now. The entire interior Closer view of the Fish-Tank (Credit to Gregorovich for the idea, Thanks!) The payment and Take-Out area Enjoy! WIP Pictures Front of Building Back of Building Interior... Looking very empty Comment and Criticism greatly appreciated ~Bayonet Edited April 28, 2011 by Captain Bayonet Quote
Syn Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 man you know I hate to say it because LEGO already builds these as there go to restaurant but it looks like a Pizza place. Don't get me wrong your off to a great start! It just looks like this pizza joint that I have here called Brick Oven pizza. I notice some grand emporium techniques in there as well! I look forward to seeing the completed thing! Quote
Captain Bayonet Posted April 26, 2011 Author Posted April 26, 2011 (edited) I believe it it is finished. Thank you Syn for your helpful input, yes, it is a Pizzeria. I'll let the pictures speak now. Enjoy! Front Kitchen Restaurant Area ~Bayonet Edited April 26, 2011 by Captain Bayonet Quote
Gregorovich Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 (edited) Looks great, Captain Bayonet! The outside is nice, and I really like the dark red colouring. The inside is also great, with it's fantastic tiled floors and great details. I think that the dining room's a bit boring, though. I think that if you put a vase of flowers, a fishtank or something along those lines in it would jazz it up a bit. And maybe if you included some minifigures and food it would make the MOC seem a bit busier. Anyway, its excellent the way it is. Well done, and thanks for sharing! Captain Bayonet Posted April 26, 2011 Author Posted April 26, 2011 Nice LDD work so far 'Captain Bayonet', you need a counter to pay at and collect take-away pizzas, also a kitchen upstairs....okay there must be somethings I don't know about pizza bars then ! Brick On LDD On 'Captain Bayonet' ! Thanks everyone! I'll take those ideas into consideration LightingTiger, same for you Gregorovich. There wasn't enough room on the ground floor for a dining room and a kitchen. I was forced to put the kitchen upstairs, it just didn't feel right on the ground floor. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Pretty good LDD restaurant design Captain Bayonet! The design really have come a long way from the rather basic starting build to this finished product. I like the textured brickwork of the external architecture, and it's nice to see a very busy interior. Though I feel it could use a few more details, especially in the rooftop. Still, nice work!
