I personally just take down my sets if I fell they are not shelve worthy after I'm done reviewing it if I have to. If they are shelve worthy, well, I just keep them on my shelve .

Most of my houses are built and on display in various places (every time my mother visits they seem to mysteriously rearrange) as are the Grand Emporium and Medieval Market Village. Most of the other sets have been broken down and put in a couple of boxes. I'd love a glass-fronted display unit to keep some of my favourites in, but I think a lot more will get put away soon as toddler-proofing the house becomes a priority.

(Edited because I think rather than thunk - good old Apple autocorrect)
