8BrickMario Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 It's a shame there wasn't a Thor nanofigure for the ubiquitous "Puny god" joke! Those funnies are great! Quicksilver's expression really sells the first one. Quote
Amset-Rah Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Gah, we got some groaners, but that's why I love you, Oky. Great batch! Quote
Steph 104th Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Re-watched the Avengers last night and thought of doing that last one, great job OKY, as per usual. Quote
Dorayaki Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Based on how Emma's father looks like the minidoll version of the supervillain figure, although both don't really resemble Michael Shannon. Technically King Triton can help, but he's currently out of the LEGO world, too. It's rather a quiz than a funny. Oky must know the answer, though. After Batman's top secret was discovered, he manages to give a fightback by revealing Wyldstyle's true nature. Quote
Oky Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Good ones, Dorayaki! Though I'm not sure I get the third one. Steph 104th Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 The first one is great OKY, only Stark can get drunk in his suit. Quote
Dorayaki Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 (edited) Good ones, Dorayaki! Though I'm not sure I get the third one. Agree. Honestly, the previous ones were not quite successful. I just give the answer below. It's about how Annie Potts got whacked by LEGO twice. First time is not getting a figure in Toy Story theme, later her other role in Ghostbusters was relatively rejected along with the HQ office from LEGO Ideas. Anyway, the following ones might be less obscure. She's scared, in a different way. Has Jodi Benson been affected by Mattel and Disney's break-off? How LEGO cast a bad light on 9-year-old kids.... although Bart's one has been officially legal after the real deal. Another used pun by Oky. LEGO's inaccurate phials have driven Galadriel crazy. You don't have to do anything, really. Edited March 22, 2015 by Dorayaki Quote
LegoPercyJ Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) Thanks Silent Nomad! Love Feedback! Edited March 25, 2015 by LegoPercyJ Quote
Iria Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) Great work everyone on the funnies! I've been binge reading this entire thread over the last week and a half. Great reading material for when you've got a cold. Edited March 25, 2015 by Iria Quote
BrickSev Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 After I made a lot of "anti-Jar Jar" lol images I finally managed to make a single Panel comic featuring Vision from the Marvel universe "I got a vision" aka when Vision quotes a classic movie I thought I would be a proper quote, after all Quote

Dorayaki Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Good, I thought it was too early to do these, but I'm gonna do now. :P How Lisa plays before a real cat mold comes in another CMF series. Seriously, had LEGO ever heard about Palace Pets??? Another conflict between LEGO licenses and nonlicenses. The cast is weird. A maid that understands transfiguration spells could finish the film in five minutes. It could be too late to wait for the other Disney Phillip coming next year. Kids can drive on road these days.... this must indicates fundamental Issue in education. Quote
Oky Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Not bad, Dorayaki, but I think it is indeed a bit early for that Emma Watson funny. As for the funny with Phillip, the same joke could be made with Snow White. By the way, how do you know there is a Prince Phillip coming next year? Quote

By the way, how do you know there is a Prince Phillip coming next year? I'll try to do other kinds of funnies if the film give good inspiration (I haven 't got to watch Cinderella, honestly, so I didn't notice the Bella one). About the LEGO Prince Phillip, true, maybe even later or would not happen. thanks LEGO making Disney updating annually.... Edited April 8, 2015 by Dorayaki Quote
Dorayaki Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 (edited) Arguably, this sets looks more competent for that use. Emily's journey is forced to extend from twenty minutes to three full-length films (and that makes more sense ). Based on the character of the same name from Heroes of Tomorrow. While Emily "Hemly" Jones mourns the loss of her grandmother, she surprisingly finds out that her grandmother was the ex-girlfriend of Henry Jones Sr., thus confirming that Emily herself is also a member of the adventrous family. Now Emily has to go on her own way and explore the secrets of Elvendale crystal hollow. Edited April 17, 2015 by Dorayaki Quote

JaseTJ Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Excuse my lack of a better background--my studio area is overrun with a project that's too big to move... Anyways. I just got the Hulkbuster, and after making my modifications I also made a separate arm attachment similar to the one in the movie... "Hulk, slow down!" My second one is based on a line from the movie, so I figured I'd spoiler it. It's nothing plot-related, just a twist on a funny line. "Oh look, they're lining up..." Quote
Silent Nomad Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Interesting idea to put repulsors in the knees for extra force. As for the second one, I've seen the movie, but I don't remember that part, unless it was from the beginning at the Hydra fortress, in which case I think I might remember it. Quote
