I had seen the preview for Brick Journal's Minifig Customizing tips here http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=54303. Inside there is a Leia in Boussh and I wanted to make one.

Edit: The custom Lego Boussh design is the creation of Legostein.

But I needed a Tusken Raider for the torso. Yes I realize I could get it from BL. However yesterday I picked up a 7113 Tusken Raider Encounter cheap thanks to Craigslist. Along with the 7113, I also picked up 4476 Jabba's Prize. So I wanted to make the iconic scene. "Someone who loves you."

He's holding a a THERMAL DETONATOR!!!!

Great job recreating this scene Solscud! The brickbuilt head of Boush Leia is pretty neat, and the effective overhead lighting really provides a realistic Jabba's Palace atmosphere.

Hello,

very nice scene. :classic:

Did you know the original builder of this brick-built figure is a member of these forums?

The figure is now almost 6 years old.

Thanks. I need a trans black 1x2 plate but dont have any. They only show up in two mini SW sets that I dont have. So I decided to use a regular trans plate.

Oh, I never knew that piece is rare in trans-black color. Though it still looks good even in regular trans.

Legostein, I had no idea it was your creative genius that came up with that MOC Boussh minifig. I didnt properly read the article. I just looked at the pictures haha. But I'm not that surprised that it is you. The design fantastic It is spot on and all your creations are always spot on. Thanks for sharing!!!

Masked Builder: That Leia in Boussh looks ok but it requires a custom decal and silver sharpie on the stud. I prefer to use original Lego pieces as much as possible. A hidden modification is fine, like using half a technic studded pin for my R2D2 third leg, but drawing on a lego piece to get the Boussh mouth is not something I would want to do. It draws my attention away from the world of Lego. If all the pieces are Lego then I can immerse myself. But hand drawn lines on a lego piece awakens me from that immersion and draws attention to itself.

But it is a clever Boussh costume just not to my preferences.

Fun little vig you have there! The shot with Han and Leia looks perfect. Love your Boussh head as well, Legostein!

Now all you need is a miffed Jabba to complete the scene
