AllanSmith Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Hazmat truck built a week ago but photographed today. Designed to carry 4 hazmat suits to the firefighters at the scene of a chemical accident. After a hot day in the hazmat suits theres nothing better than a cold ice cream from the lovely girl in the Mr Whippy truck. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 I agree with 'AJ', excellent Hazmat truck 'AS'.....finally those tow truck parts come in handy for something else eh ? Brick On 'AS' ! Quote
Masked Builder Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 I see you've gotten this built! Nice work. I'm really liking the hay it all fits in there. Quote
CarrollFilms Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 This is really cool, have you thought of buying some life lites and putting them in the truck to get that cool effect when in the dark. Very good job, keep up the great work Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Well done Hazmat truck Allan, the gear and protective suit compartments are truly very nice details! Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Very nice job! I love the use of the passenger train front for the back of the truck. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Awesome Hazmat truck 'AllanSmith' Great detailed work! Love the interior. Keep up the great work Quote

Fire6 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Great job...love how it fits with the standard City/Mini-fig scale/look....I think I need to start doing more mods... Quote
marvinblue Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Fantastic job AllanSmith! Finally, a solution for transporting these suits! This would also work well as a BA truck... I can feel a MOC coming on...!! Quote
Redcross Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Well executed AlanSmith. Your vehicles are always very well crafted. I love the opened shutters revealing the gear. May I suggest your next build could be to add a mass decontamination pod. They get towed to the disaster scene and contain decontamination shower tents. Quote
AllanSmith Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 Great job...love how it fits with the standard City/Mini-fig scale/look....I think I need to start doing more mods... I originaly built the cab on this truck to be similar to the cab on 7938 Container Truck from the train set. I like my truck cabs to be similar to 3180 Tank Truck so have now lengthened the cab by one stud to provide a foot step. Quote
