Lasse D Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Last year I built this Renault Magnum with Octan trailer as a motorized Model Team model in scale 1:25. This is a scale 1:2 model of that truck. Usually when you build a Renault Magnums, you will choose the old version which is more square and well suited for LEGO. This is an attempt at the new one with non-rectilinear lines everywhere. Here it is at Klodsfest 2011. Brickshelf gallery with more pictures. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 The first thing I noticed was the spheres, but what really stands out after a good look is the bottom portion of the front of the truck. Great work there. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Another very well done scaled-down version of your Model Team MOCs Lasse! It's nice to see the signature brickbuilt spheres of the original model are still in this mini-model. And you've got some pretty interesting and unique building techniques there too, especially in the front bumper. Excellent work as always! Quote
dr_spock Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Great job on your truck. It is interesting seeing all the different techniques you've used. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 I've to bump this up to the top, because this MOC is amazing! I like the front of the truck, with that SNOT technique The truck tractor is a coplete masterpiece! Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Really great job! The detail and the spheres on this are perfect. The bumper and headlights at the front of the truck are favorite parts. I can't wait to see more! Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 That word again, AWESOME ! You have out done yourself 'Lasse D', a fantastic trailer and almost beyond awesome prime mover (the frontend of which you can tell it's a Renault). K.O.B. 'Lasse D' again ! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Another great MOC, 'Lasse D' I love the cab and great job on the unique trailer. Can't wait to see more Quote
Lasse D Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 Cheers guys. I have 2 other trucks that still have not been posted. But I will wait until a little project has been completed first. Meanwhile, I will update the big coke truck and get started on my flagship truck. (Been planned for 3 years now) But there is also the race truck... Quote
