Remember back in 2008 when I presented this? If not, then that underline is a link.

Now it's here in scale 1:2, that is, System scale. The original had power functions with 3 receivers, 8 functions in the trailer, 2 XL motors in the truck... This model has none of that :-P

Although those 1x1 round plates are light in the dark. I did go the easy way with the santas, though.

Here it is at Klodsfest 2011.

Excellent MOC! It is good looking and highly detailed. It looks just like the original Model Team scale MOC. I particularly like the usage of glow in the dark 1 x 1 round plates to enhance the look of the model in the dark.

Extremely well done. :classic:

Excellent job! The models you make are really greatly done. The big trucks logo is perfect. This one also is great. I wish it had a function in the trailer though, The santa was a good idea instead of the tiling that would confuse some people. Great job! :sweet:

The detailing of this truck is simply impressive! I like how you took the challenge of brick-building the logo instead of the easy sticker solution - that's truly a testament of your expert building skills. I also love the build of the long-nose truck - very unique, unconventional, but very beautiful. Another excellent mini Model Team creation Lasse!

Thanks guys.

Excellent semi-trailer 'Lasse D', the Santa is the AWESOME touch to it and the prime mover is based on a Mack or Western Star ?

Keep up the fantastic designing and K.O.B. 'Lasse D' !

The original truck is not modelled after a particular truck, but mostly inspired by the Freightliners in the Coca Cola commercials. I will probably find a real truck for the next iteration. I want to change the pictures with the santas and see if I can save some weight. The batteries are drained quite quickly by the 5kg load.
