You're right, it was incredibly boring. 10 minutes of power football, 110 minutes of pushing the ball around in midfield, very exciting... I never felt soo much while watching fotball *wub* !!! I have to agree to you what you said about the first half. There the Germans where a bit too ... some kind of lazy! But after the break they really got better and better! What I am talking about is the whole exertion when you just need an equalization to go further and reach the title!!! And then you solve this and get new hope for the whole match! And what counts is the end of the match and the result! And THIS was an earned victory for us!!! Quote

I just listened to the broadcasting over radio and I must say I usually don't find football very exciting AT ALL, but this final "shootout to victory"-stuff was fun to hear...even more so as all scored goals were praised with cheers from all over the near empty parking-lot* where I sat in the car. *That game was a REAL BLOCKBUSTER! I've never seen our local shopping-center that lifeless on a late saturday! And even inside all TVs, Radios and other media roared the game broadcasts into the atmosphere! There was indeed no escape from it ^^ Quote

For all of you sceptics, we defeated the "unbeatable" (yeay right !! looooooooooooooool) Brazil with their "magical square" !! We brilliantly prevented the best players in the world to play their game !! Grosnaldo (French humourous name of Fat Ronaldo :-D ), R10 (hey its a selling name :-D ) were totally lost !! It was like an execution hehe Also we were lucky that the BAD decisions of the ref (the spanish dude) did not influence the result ;-) Now France is a team that strikes fear in the heart of their opponents !! Tremble to our almighty oldie armada who has only ONE goal: adding another golden star on their jersey :-P We defeated Portugal the 2 last time we played them in the Euro so we are in the Finals (*starting singing the Marseillaise *sing* *). Its going to be tough thougfh because they have a fake rythm and nearly all their games were soooo boring to watch :-| (England/Portugal anyone :-P ). Good luck on beating Italy :-D Its really going to be tough (remember a certain 4 nothing a couple of months ago ??). snefroe Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 it's germany-italy, now, right? i hope germany wins... it seems they're having a great time in germany right now, thanks to the WC, so losing now would spoil the fun... besides, isn't it traditional to have a german team in the final? the other game, france-portugal, mostly depends on one guy: zizou; if he plays as in his last few games, then we should see a great game... hope france wins... Vader Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 You know it really shocks me when people act surprised that germany has done so well, i mean sure they didnt have the best pre world cup games but anyone who knows the world cup should also know that the host nation always does well and most reach the semi final. Now as im english i cant route for the germans to win the cup but i will congratulate them on how well theyve done. Quote
