Delta62 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Hey there, This is my first moc to post and a way to start it off I present to you the Empress of the stars. It took about a month to build and I detailed it as best as I could. As to say I'm an armature when it comes to greebling. Sorry for the lousy background, this ship was really huge, about 3 feet long and it was hard taking pictures of it. I do plan on going back to this design and see if I could build it better. She really was quite the beauty and I regret taking the ship apart. The next one I build will stay up permanently. Comments, ideas and criticism are most welcome. Sorry, I didnt get to upload the photos yet so I can share them on the forum. For now, here is the link to the ship. Enjoy! Empress of the stars Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Wonderful Job Delta62! And start I say that there is a lot of beautiful details such as the layering of the bricks to make the hull. The small turrets on the the front of the ship. I would love to see the pilot of the ship! (If there is one). Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) Nice job, Delta62. I'm not the greatest fan of the stacked plates hull technique, but it works nicely here. You can deeplink photos from MOCpages. From the page, click the pic, then right click on the enlarged pic and click 'Open Image in New Tab' (Mac) or similar. Then deeplink the URL of the image. Code for that is [img=http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/6834/1266002574m_DISPLAY.jpg] EDIT: Missed a tag. Edited April 7, 2011 by Brickdoctor Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Ooh, excellently done ship Delta62! I'm really lovin' the unusual but quite unique undulating overall shape, as well as the dark bley strip detail over the light bley body. The use of that cockpit piece for the bridge looks great too. Simply impressive work overall! Quote
