Hello,

I have just started collecting LEGO again. I have tons of it at my parent's house that I had back in the 70s as a kid. I remember my father teaching me maths using the bricks to count, asking me to find specific bricks for a model. Those are some of my earliest memories we had a lot of the early buildings and a railway with blue tracks if I recall.

Later when I was a able I started to buy some of the classic space sets when they first came out with pocket money and I kept this up buying the M-Tron (I think if I remember?) Blacktro and Space Police. Later when I moved out and bought a place of my own I continued collecting space sets. It was some time ago and I am not sure I remember the correct names, but I think they were Insectoids and Ice Planet? Back then I was still single and I rememeber I was working and living away from home so had plenty of time in the evenings. I built a huge Blacktron ship and I think, (Hope.) it is still complete in my parent's attic where I left it along with my entire early collection. I would love to get them out again but my current house is small and I have limited room. Maybe one day!

Nowadays I am married and my wife has just got me back into LEGO with the Minifigs releases which we have been collecting. She is quite keen on the Firemen sets as well, although I amhoping for more space stuff. (I'm not really into the Star Wars ones though.) We have bought a few of the smaller sets, but as I said we have limited room.
