Looks about right. Maybe a little too tall as far as proportions go.

Yeah, in addition that, there's a signifigant difference in slope on the front end(The side that leads the tank in ROTS.)

I've changed the plating around on the front a bit, to make it look better. The old one was too elongated. Do you think the base I have is proportionate?

Would you mind deeplinking those bad boys? I can't see them :cry_sad: But everything looks great so far. Can't believe I haven't seen this topic yet!

Thanks Sok! Long story as to why those can't be deeplinked. I'll try and take some tomorrow, that are visible.

Sorry for the off topic but isn't the 9.8m TIE Advanced x1 canon, even if it is obviously wrong, wookieepedia works only with canon (so they say) so regardless of the stupid figures they still will put it.

I worry about Wookieepedia sometimes. Once I came across this in the 'Talk' section:

What's the canon status of toys? I have a Slave I toy ship that reveals 4 shootable plastic lasers in the front under the cockpit. Since it's not contradicted by anything else, i'm going to add it in.

Next thing you know somebody will write that S-foils were operated by a worm gear.

Or the Nu-class had stacks of missiles that the gunner had to go out and push them at the enemy .

Any updates? I'm anxiously awaiting!

Sorry for the delay, camera card broke. I hate the way those stick out of the PC, an accident just waiting to happen. Anyways I hope not to disappoint

Now was that so hard?

Great to see this thing taking shape! I didn't know you were planning on adding power functions :oh: , I really like the control room, have you thought about the wheel at all? I'd like to see what your plans are for those.

P.S. still waiting for your stun tank advice! :sweet:

I'll try and give that to you by tomorrow.

Yep Lights on the front, and turning wheels.

I'm borrowing Saints technique for those.

This is looking good. Personally I would've done all the armor plates in bricks, not tiles, but it should turn out fine this way. What concerns me is the bottom spine. Those Technic beams don't appear to have any pattern; will they sufficiently support and distribute the weight?

Assuming this is correct, the length looks to be right, it's just that some angles need fixing.

That should be correct, looks to be a render from the movie. But I meant the width.

After I figure out the gears/wheel down there additional support will be added. :sweet: I felt as though for some poritons the angles would look so wrong brick-built.

Looks rather narrow, or is it supposed to be that size? I'm not exactly an expert.

Hmmm, I though the length was good, on another forum somebody told me the exact opposite, so I'd like more minds opinions on that.

Nice work, this is looking really good. i can't wait to see this monster rool over some droids

I have really high expectations about this one , but it seems to be meeting them up to now . I must say your building skills are very good , although you 're not the guy who leaves the good comment on my moc . Keep up the awesome work brickartist !
