Wout Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) I know from Legoworld Zwolle there was a guy who had all sort of old Fabuland collected. And he had also some old VHS videos from this serie. I don't know how many of videos were made and also not how the videos were in minutes, but I know it was never in the Netherlands on TV. This guy did also do the fabuland domain of Lugnet, but it is not anymore on the site. I know he had also a very old website with all fabuland pieces on pics before brickset did that. Edit: Maybe Hinckley knows more. Edited April 2, 2011 by Wout Quote
CMP Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 No way that was a real TV show. April Fool's Joke or some guy simply passed it off as a TV show when it was just a Brickfilm. Funny, though. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted April 2, 2011 Author Posted April 2, 2011 No way that was a real TV show. April Fool's Joke or some guy simply passed it off as a TV show when it was just a Brickfilm. Funny, though. From wikipedia: Fabuland was a theme and product range of the Lego construction toy, aimed at young children, and set in a fantastical world of make-believe. Introduced in 1979, the range aimed to fill the gap between Duplo and the standard Lego product ranges. Aimed at both boys and girls, the range encouraged storytelling, and was the first theme to be extended into books, clothing, and a TV series It's not a joke! You can see more episodes on youtube! Sandy Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Ooh, how cool! That tv-series must not have been very widely-spread, but I do remember the Fabuland picture books from my childhood. Edward, Max and Bonnie were the "protagonists" in those as well. Quote
MetroiD Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 No way that was a real TV show. April Fool's Joke or some guy simply passed it off as a TV show when it was just a Brickfilm. Funny, though. It looks much too well produced to be a joke of any kind and is obviously a real old TV show. Makes me reconsider my stance on getting a Fabuland sigfig... Damn you Hinckfried... Siegley... oh whatever! Quote
Pandora Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 What a great find! It's a charming children's TV programme that I didn't know existed. MetroiD - reconsidering a Fabuland SigFig? Go on, you know you want to... Quote
