commanderneyo Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 It seems the Clone Wars Season 4 finale of "Brothers" & "Revenge", indeed the Darth Maul & Savage Opress episodes will reference or be referenced by a young adult novel coming on new year's day titled "Star Wars: The Wrath of Darth Maul". Here's a quote from the book: "Your legs?" "That scum took it." "The Jedi…you remember. I've brought a gift for you." "For me? Food?" "No. Something to regain your memory." ―Savage Opress is reunited with a near-mad Maul and presents him with a talisman from Mother Talzin It also said Maul will use the cybernetic legs from the EU in TCW... Darth Nihilus Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 It also said Maul will use the cybernetic legs from the EU in TCW... Those were awful. Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Found some new images from the next episode! Looks like it could be a good episode, but Obi-Wan getting humiliated for the third episode running is just way over the top, it's now as if Obi-Wan's existence is just to be tortured, and he is my favorite Star Wars character... http://starwarsunderworld.blogspot.com/2011/12/star-wars-clone-wars-escape-from-kadavo.html Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Welcome to EB, Spidey! Those are some nice funnies you got there! Here's mine for today: Day 14: Worst Idea Ever? by okayaraman, on Flickr Heh, heh, heh Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 This looks like an interesting Clone coming later in S4! http://starwarsunderworld.blogspot.com/2011/12/clone-commander-stone-in-phase-ii.html Quote
382nd Legionnaire Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Anyone know what happened to the episode guides? The episode guide used to have a synopsis, episode commentary and trivia. Now with the start of season 4, it looks like they stopped doing it? Quote
Oky Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Anyone know what happened to the episode guides? The episode guide used to have a synopsis, episode commentary and trivia. Now with the start of season 4, it looks like they stopped doing it? Yeah, the new site sucks. In fact, the whole online approach to Season 4 sucks. No more webcomics, no more Filoni commentary, no more trivia, no nothing. Only synopsis and some redundant character info. Which reminds me, I recieved a newsletter today advertising the new site, and it had a half-body picture of Maul as the header: Yup, definitely no ghost. I'm hoping that the rumor about him having the Grievous-like legs from the EU are true, because I quite liked that idea/design, not to mention that it would make a great minifig! By the way, here's a quote from the StarWars.com frontpage: Our Season 4 holiday marathon continues! Join General Grievous, Jar Jar, Threepio, and Artoo on a trio of mayhem-filled misadventures, with updated episode guides and new video extras! Is it just me or does this sound more off-putting than inviting? Quote
Fallenangel Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Season 4 holiday marathon? So this was taken from the show? Quote
Artanis I Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 That reads badly, at first glance it looks like they're saying 4 characters are a trio. & I wish they wouldn't bring back Maul at all (not even as a ghost)... Obi Wan will have to go through the Jedi trials all over again if he isn't dead... but this particular image could just be regarding the upcoming Episode I re-release, which is in fact mentioned in that image... Oky Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 That reads badly, at first glance it looks like they're saying 4 characters are a trio. Yeah, that too, but that's not what I meant. They're using four of the most lame/annoying characters from the show to advertise their marathon. Quote
CMP Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Yeah, that too, but that's not what I meant. They're using four of the most lame/annoying characters from the show to advertise their marathon. No, one of the most lame/annoyingly and three of the formerly awesome characters ravaged by the Clone Wars...in more ways than one. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 (edited) Threepio as the bad one normally, R2, grievous and Jar Jar as the ones ruined by the clone wars. Edited December 28, 2011 by JediAnakin Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Threepio as the bad one normally, R2, grievous and Jar Jar as the ones ruined by the clone wars. No Jar jar has always been bad, Threepio was ruined by the show Quote
Brickadeer Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Does anyone know whether TCW ends after season 6 or whether there are rumors of a 7th season? Quote
General Magma Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Does anyone know whether TCW ends after season 6 or whether there are rumors of a 7th season? What? We're in the middle of season 4 right now, we don't know if there will be a 6th season, let alone a fifth one. But I'd rather doubt they would do a 7th season, we probably won't even see potential for a 6th one anyways. Only time will tell. ~ General Magma Quote

There is a preview on starwars.comas well. I'm not sure if I understand the dialogue between Dooku and Sidious correctly. Can anyone explain to me in which case Dooku shall end the rule of the Zygerrian Queen? Edited December 31, 2011 by Brickadeer Quote

commanderneyo Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 News from the "Prison Break" arc! http://i44.tinypic.com/2z7h3qc.jpg It reveals quite a lot about the arc: Obi-Wan is going to turn villain, Embo will return with the other confirmed bounty hunters (Cad Bane/Bossk/Boba Fett). And also Saesee Tiin will appear, but a major part of cameo for Tiin is unknown. And most importantly, it confirms this arc will be a 4-part episode arc starting January 13th. It seems the Lux/Ahsoka episode will tie-in with the "Prison Break" episodes, as it is confirm the Lux/Ahsoka episode, "A Friend in Need" is also airing January 13th. Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Sorry for double post, but now have official information from two of the "Prison Break" episodes! Deception: ""When the Jedi learn of a Separatist plot to kidnap Chancellor Palpatine, Obi-Wan is sent to a Republic prison disguised as a convict to extract information from the conspirator. While inside, Obi-Wan discovers that Cad Bane has been enlisted and they must work together if they are to escape." Friends and Enemies: ""Fleeing across the galaxy, a disguised Obi-Wan, Cad Bane, and Morallo Eval are wanted fugitives pursued by Anakin and Ahsoka. Bane and Kenobi work together to evade the relentless pursuit from Anakin but it is Obi-Wan who must confront his former apprentice and do so without blowing his cover." Quote

Darth Nihilus Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Is TCW purposely going into a new 'Obi Wan Must Suffer' arc for series 4 . Anakin has suffered enough, what with Ahsoka being a brat and Krell, so it's Obi-Wan's turn now. Ahsoka will suffer next, hopefully. Quote
