Minifig Lecturer Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Just 2 small pictures I took of a well-to-do family in my city. Hope you like it. Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 Nice little scene Calvin. A butler? Well actually an ambassador I posted off to a friend in the USA. He never arrived ;( Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I like the piano on the background ...but the thing I like the most is the wife's evening dress: it's really hot! Quote

medib Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Thanks. Your name isn't Silvio Berlusconi... by any chance? ^^ I seen the scene and I was thinking Peter Pan and the Darling family. The dad could "lose" the hair and become Captain Hook, especially with the Pirates of the Carribean sets coming out. The 3 kids could easily pass for Wendy, Michael and John. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Nice family 'Calvin', one little comment though...maybe stick to the same era of minifig head and in a way torso too. The wife looks 00's and he looks 80's ! (let's do the timewarp again) Brick On 'Calvin' ! Quote
Big Cam Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 I like it, it reminds me of a scene you'd see on the city banner. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Pretty nice family scene Calvin! I love the cozy interior with instantly recognizable home elements (curtains, piano, floor tile work). Good job! Quote
Out of Sight Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Nice, looks like a typical upscale neighbourhood type family, with all the champagne glass and classical piano, that's no Yamaha, more like $1 million Kuhn- Bösendorfer. You should pose them in a less formal gesture too..a candid mommy running around while the kids are chasing her while pouring a glass of champagne on her..pretend that it's the couple's marriage anniversary Why not try to replicate extra-ordinary family too? The Osbournes!! Rockstar's family always amazes me in some ways..with all that screw-ups, they seem to be held together somehow, or so as MTV had shown  Quote
