AussieJimbo Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I think it's the nozzle from a fuel hose with the string removed. Nice one, LT. :classic: Quote
thewatchman Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 the yellow part is a new part? i know there are a bunch of them in the new firefighters kits but none attached to ropes i dont think. i do like the small roller contruct though it looks great. i wish the new ps came with a scaffold for the painter, like the fire escape from the green grocer. i can see some hilarious mocs with dropped paint cans made from that set :P Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 Thanks everyone so far for commenting, hmm....scaffolding sounds interesting ! Anymore suggestions or ideas ? Keep bringing them ON ! Quote
Aethersprite Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 AWESOME! Really creative. Though the yellow stands out too much, maybe you could make the whole thing grey? Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 AWESOME! Really creative. Though the yellow stands out too much, maybe you could make the whole thing grey? I'll try and get some light bluey grey nozzles in the next two days, but thanks for the kind words 'Lockon Stratos' ! Brick On Everyone ! Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 the yellow part is a new part? i know there are a bunch of them in the new firefighters kits but none attached to ropes i dont think. The nozzle is available since 2006 according to BrickLink and sometimes it is attached to rope, for example Off Road Fire Rescue. Great paint roller by the way. Quote
Out of Sight Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Since we're talking about painting tools...here's my idea based on that picture. Remove the wrench at the top, and place the blue cylinder brick instead. Voila, you've got yourself a modern painting apparatus..a gravity fed spray gun the blue cylinder will act as the paint container. This will work well in any auto repair shop. Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 My only complaint is that the yellow nozzle thing should be grey. Since Lego doesn't make that though you could use a different one, (Such as this) Nice job though. Quote
Captain Becker Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Looks a bit weird, but i know at paint roller is very hard to make from Legos. Great job whit the paint roller, i would only change 1x1 round blue brick into yellow or white one. Great job whit this Captain Becker Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 Again thanks to all who commented, YES I will change the yellow piece today...updating tomorrow - oh, the sprayer idea....got one in my head...even more simple than this ! Keep on watching everyone ! Quote
