mo123567 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 (edited) Hello. I've been working on creating minifig versions of the characters from the Street Fighter franchise. I did not create any custom parts I've only been looking for the best representations I could find among existing lego parts and a few custom accessory shops like Brickforge. My goal is to create minifigs that anyone could create themselves by spending a few bucks for parts at Bricklink, Brickforge etc... Anyone is welcome to contribute any ideas. If this goes well, I may try some more of my favorates like Tekken, Mortal Kombat or Final Fantasy. SF Alpha Adon (hair from Brickforge) Cody (needs striped legs) Rolento (beret from Brickforge) Guy Sakura (forgot red gloves) Birdie Sodom (waiting for part in the mail) Maki (waiting for part in the mail) Karin (no ideas yet) Dan (no ideas yet) Juli (no ideas yet) Juni (no ideas yet) Charlie (no ideas yet) R. Mika (no ideas yet) Gen (no ideas yet) Rose (no ideas yet) Ingrid (no ideas yet) SF2 Ryu Ken Dhalsim Zangief Guile Chun Li Blanka (I already changed his head since this picture to the CM series 4 monster) Cammy (hair/hat needs work) Fei Long T Hawk Akuma (holding my breath for the mad scientist hair in dark red) Vega M. Bison Dee Jay (waiting for part in the mail) E Honda (waiting for part in the mail) Sagat (waiting for part in the mail) Balrog (no ideas yet, red boxing gloves coming in CM series 5!) SF3 Yun Yang Remy Hugo Alex Makoto Dudley (windy day) Urien Q (no ideas yet) Sean (no ideas yet) Twelve (no ideas yet) Ibuki (no ideas yet) Oro (no ideas yet) Necro (no ideas yet) Elena (no ideas yet) Gill (no ideas yet) SF4 Abel C. Viper Gouken Juri El Fuerte (waiting for part in the mail) Hakan (no ideas yet) Seth (no ideas yet) Rufus (no ideas yet) Edited March 31, 2011 by mo123567 Quote
Omicron Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I wish you luck in your endeavours. Vid game projects are always fun. :) If you need any tips and advice for Final Fantasy and Mortal Kombat, I'm your guy on that. :P -Omi Quote

I may start working on another series soon as I'm starting to run out of ideas for the remaining SF characters. (How in the world would I ever be able to make someone like Rose short of making my own parts?) I would love to see your FF and MK stuff. MK sure would require a lot of face masks... Quote

Rose would require modification of this hairpiece or modification/combo of these pieces (they can be purchased here). For the torso I'd probably end up using this, this or this. As for my stuff, you can find them here. -Omi Edited March 28, 2011 by Omicron Quote

I can tell this will get really expensive if I keep doing this. Thanks for the Rose seggestions. I had a female surfer sitting right in front of me and I didn't even think about using her torso for Rose. You have a really good eye for this. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Hey ho, great effort so far. Just a quick tip, if your camera doesn't have macro zoom (or a very good macro zoom) position the camera further away from the figure and zoom in closer, it helps the camera to focus on the figure better. Quote

Thanks for the tip. I'll try it out. My photography definately needs some work. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I'm lovin' your purist approach on these SF customs mo123567, I think you managed to get the look of each character pretty well without any advanced customization techniques. Great job so far and looking forward to see the remaining SF characters. Quote
