You can't with out making temporary scaffolding since it's an illegal connection. I'm not sure why you're not allowed to anymore, as you were able to in earlier versions of LDD.

@prateek: I wouldn't call it an illegal connection since it's not really a connection at all. :tongue:

To your question LegoCityFanatic, prateek is completely correct in that you need to build some supporting structure around, place the brick, and then remove the scafolding thus leaving the brick "floating". In future version of LDD we're all hoping for some sort of feature to "free-place" bricks like you ask.

@Superkalle: I pretty much have an idea, thank you to both of you.

Also, LU mode for LDD does not work for my computer, a Windows 7 computer. There is not LDD folder. Perhaps, the Lego Creation folder?
