LordKain Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 After years without using LEGO in any way I'm now back at the age of 24 to build up some projects. My first one is this little vignette... Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Excellent vig there 'LordKain', great to see a new collectable figure in action....he does look worried eh ? Fantastic use of all that trans-green......Homer Simpson must have been around ! Welcome to EB as well and hopefully we see more of your creations as they come.....another person leaves the dark ages behind and back into the light of the brick ! Brick On 'LordKain' ! Quote
city boy Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 nice work . and welcome to the forum nice work . and welcome to the forum Quote
MetroiD Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Not the best of timings for such a scene, I guess... But anyway - welcome to Eurobricks! Congrats on that S4 hazmat guy; I'll be looking out for your future MOCs Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Pretty good comeback build after a long hiatus from LEGO LordKain! The vig depicts the scene rather well, though I agree it's really weird seeing the worried look on the hazmat guys face, I'd rather see a much resolved attitude for the person in charge of cleaning toxic nuclear waste. Welcome to the forums BTW! Quote
CptMugwash Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Hehe this made me giggle, I did think about Homer Simpson too though it's strange I didn't think about the situation in Japan. The timing is unfortunate but I do like something thats stepping it's foot over the border and provoking a reaction. The expression on the figs face suits the situation perfectly lol I'm 24 too and have recently come out of my dark ages, I look forward to seeing more mocs from you Keep on MOCing! Quote
MetroiD Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Hehe this made me giggle, I did think about Homer Simpson too... Ooops! I totally forgot about good old Homer... If this is him, then I guess that's the perfect excuse for LordKain to continue with the next vig featuring the skater minifig representing Bart Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Not the best of timings for such a scene, I guess... True ...but the vignette looks pretty cool! Nice job! Quote
prateek Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Amazing job buddy! Nice use of the trans green stuff as nuclear waste. I think you should've saved this for a potential Series 4 vignette contest Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Nice job there! I like your use of trans yellow-ish bricks. My minions did well Quote
